Pasta Peperonata   パスタ・ペペロンナータ☆



On Saturday, as we had a big lunch at Robuchon, we had just sandwich in the evening. Yesterday, my husband wanted to cook Pasta together so that's what we did although I think all I did was slicing red and yellow peppers, weighting pasta and grating the cheese. Not much to do.

The recipe we used was Jamie Oliver's "Pasta Pepperonata". We used Sphagettini instead of Rigatoni.
The peppers and onion are sauteed on a low heat for a long time so they become very sweet, there is a little acidity from wine vinegar and saltiness from Parmesan Cheese - simple but very tasty.
