Arab Quarter 　アラブ街☆

一度は行ってみたいと思っていたアラブ街にも、行って来ました。日差しが強く暑かったのですが、日陰をぶらぶらと歩いている分には大丈夫。湿気はあまりないようです。どこのお店にも日除けがあったので、ほとんど日陰を歩くことが出来ますし、お店も冷房が効いているところもありました。Sultan Mosqueというモスク寺院までタクシーで行き、そこからお土産屋さんが並んでいる通りをぶらぶらし、少しだけアラブストリートでも写真を撮りました。

インド人街はぶらぶらしてみたいと思わない街並でしたが、アラブストリートはきれいに保存された建物が並んでいるのでシンガポールらしい雰囲気があり、好きな雰囲気で、涼しければもっとゆっくりと歩いてみたいと思うところでした。シンガポールの繁華街の、よく「きれい」と言われる大きな通りより、こういうところの街並の方が個性があって趣があるので、ずっと好きです。

今日もまだ終わりません、この後、再び食べ歩きです☆

After lunch, my sister and I took a taxi to Sultan Mosque and walked along Bussorah Street, looking in shops. It was very hot but under the shade it wasn't too bad and I didn't get too uncomfortable. I liked Arab Quarter much more than I did Indian Quarter. In fact, I like Arab Quarter better than the main parts of Singapore. I think the old buildings look much more beautiful and characteristic than the new modern buildings here.

We didn't finish here. We went to eat something else after this....
